Its been a while since I last configured a mail server, and I was hoping for a bit of advice.

We have a Kerio 6.4.2 server and which is currently set to forward emails to a smart host. We have been having problems with certain people receiving emails and I would much prefer it to send emails itself. I am absolutely fine with changing this over but what I would like some advice on is what I need to do with regards to the domain. I have read I need to setup reverse DNS and things like SPF. Could anyone advise me on what is best practice to configure and ideally how I go about it.
