I am trying to send mail out on behalf of a client. I want any bounces to come back to me, but recipients see the mail being from my client and if/when they reply it goes to him. After reading (and probably not understanding) the RFC I came up with the following headers:

From: My Client <myclient(a)hisdomain.tld>
Sender: Me <myself(a)mydomain.tld>
Reply-To: My Client <myclient(a)hisdomain.tld>

Which I duly insert into the headers before sending it to KMS for delivery. But when KMS hits an email address that bounces it bounces it back to my client as his address.

I'm assuming I didn't understand the RFC properly, what header is used to ensure that bounces and delivery problems go to one address, yet the email appears to be from and any replies to it go to another address?

D'oh my bad, I did mis-interpret the RFC, swapping the from and sender addresses around makes it all work as intended. Sorry for wasting your time! Embarassed
