Hi all!

Has anyone else seen problems with calendar reminders acting strangely since either 6.4.1 or 6.4.2? Our company has noticed that some reminders are missed and show up the next day (on starting Outlook) And some reminders that do work, also duplicate and remind again at the time of the meeting even though they were dismissed at the 15 mins before the meeting time. Before, once a reminder is dismissed it would not show up again, which is preferred and expected. Occasionally these dismissed reminders show up again the next day.

Thanks,
Scott

Hi Scott,

Yeah i have noticed similar behavior since upgrading from 6.4.0 to 6.4.2. A user said that certain reminders/calendar events didnt appear.

Thanks Mark. It's nice to know occasionally I'm not crazy Razz

I'm tempted to open a ticket, but with 6.5.0 on the near horizon I'm likely to just wait it out. 6.5.0 is a VERY different animal all together. Not sure why they didn't version it 7.0 as that is more truely what I think it is. (I've been in the beta a while...)

One thing I did notice with 6.4.1 and .2 is that disk thrashing seems to have increased rather dramatically on the server. I believe that KOFF (the offline connector) may help keep that down a bit, and give Outlook more room to breath. And, in turn might help keep calendar reminders working as expected. I've only tested 6.5.0 beta in a test environment, so I'm only speculating. If someone has 6.5.0 RC2 in production, we'd like to hear how server performance is now and Outlook performance has changed.
