Hello,

one of our customers is afraid that his employees will send non-professional mails, so he wants to prevent them from sending mails.

I thought of forbidding the relaying with the IP addresses of their computers, but is there a cleaner way to do it ?

Best regards and thanks for any reply

If he only wants them to be able to send messages to one another, there's a check box in the user configuration that states "user can only send/receive e-mails from their own domain"

If he's looking to prevent sending of *any* e-mail, the only thing I can think of is to disable WebMail, configure the SMTP service to listen on a non-standard port, reconfigure the firewall to re-direct SMTp traffic to that port, and configure the boss's e-mail client to use the non-standard SMTP port.

Good is better than evil because it's nicer
