We are curently designing a home brewed web CRM tool.
We would like our users to feed the CRM tool only
and have the tool feed their KMS adressbook.

Is it possible in any way ?
Is there an api for that ?

thank you.

Doing some reserch, apparently, KMS hold a standard email folder, with one .eml per contact.
.eml containing VCF infos.

I tried to just add a file. droped the index.fld, "synced now" my mailbox.
but... no result.

What am I missing ?

New update

Contacts added directly in the folder appear correctly via webmail.
Not in Entourage (v2008) even if I request a sync.

Can anyone see why ?

Well, it's because deleting any .fld file and direct manipulation with .eml is not supported and it breaks all synchronizations and search index. If you need to access contacts you can use LDAP (for reading), WebDAV or IMAP with special extensions (ask your nearest Kerio partner).

Well,
apparently, it doesn't break "everything", because webmail works great.
even search.

I thought that when a mailbox index was corrupted, solution was to delete the index.fld.
It's then recreated by the server (thats what it did with the one in the contact folder).

I don't want to use LDAP (too slow)
Can you point to some ref toward imap or webdav ?

thanks.
