We just renewed our subscription with Kerio, so we now have access to MailServer v. 6.5.

Is it safe to go ahead and upgrade to 6.5 now? Should we wait for a bugfix release?

I see many satisfied admins here. Should I expect any specific issue upgrading from 6.3.1 instead of 6.4.x?

We've got 2 bugs affecting us, but neither is a reason to keep us from enjoying the new features of 6.5.0. I'd definately upgrade as soon as you can.

The 2 bugs we see are the shared folder deleted messages not instantly dissappearing, which is well documentent and should be fixed on the next release. And, we also see an attachment issue with messages from an automated utility, which is more specific to our use of kerio so it shouldn't affect anyone else.

These small bugs and any others that might be found can be avoided for now by continuing to use KOC rather than the new KOFF offline connector. So, weigh your options after installing 6.5.0, but do install when you get the chance.
