Hello,

I have KMS and KWF installed in the same machine. Hosts connect via webmail. webmail is setup to reload every 5 minutes.

KWF releases a user license after 15 minutes of inactivity but if a client have webmail opened, that client will never release the license because every 5 minutes activity appears, and so on.

If I have KMS in one machine and KWF in another machine this problem does not appear.

I'd like to maintain both products in the same machine. So how could i solve this problem?

Another question: Why KWF counts a connection to KMS (LAN service) as a connection to the FW? maybe i have something wroung configured? Now I have same IP for both products.

Thank You,

Erik

Buy more KWF licenses. (Sorry for this answer, but it's your only option if you want to keep KWF and KMS on the same machine.)

It's not unreasonable: KWF counts connections it 'handles', so that includes connections to the KWF server itself. ('Proof' of this is that you can control [allow/disallow] such connections, thus KWF has to do something for them and thus they take up a license.)

So the unique workaround is to run each product in its own machine.

I'll buy more licenses and maybe I take KMS into a separate machine.

Thank you Wink
