A few of us on Outlook 2003 are not able to log into our accounts after upgrading from 6.4.1 to 6.5.0 patch 1. The error is:

"Unable to open your default e-mail folders. An unexpected error has occured. MAPI was unable to load the information service KOC.DLL. Be sure the service is correctly installe3d and configured".

I re-installed the KOC and still was not able to log in to my profile. I created a new profile and then was able to log in, but my old profiles are still locked out.

What can I do to fix this error?

It looks new KOC with offline access has been installed over previous online KOC and Outlook old KOC account was not upgraded in the Outlook profile.
Can you provide more details?
What was the first KOC version installed on the client? Was it automatically upgraded on previous server updates? Is there any other account in the Outlook profile?
