All,

Hi everyone. This is my first post to this forum. my company switched over from PC to mac over the last few weeks and we have Kerio administering our email. So far, everything works flawlessly except one little problem.

Has anyone tried to attach an Office 2007/2008:mac .docx file to email? when we try, it fails. I thought that it could be due to entourage, but that comes w/ Mac Office 2008. the only other thing i can think it would be is Kerio. Any ideas?

FYI: we all use the full $400/ver of Office 2008 (not home or media editions), and can send other attachments without a problem (resave the files as office97-2004 format works fine).

fwiw -- I don't have Entourage on my Mac, but sending a DOCX (Word 2007 format) via Kerio Webmail from my Mac works fine. Sending from Mac Mail via Kerio seems fine too..

When the send button is clicked, nothing happens, but when you delete the attachment or do a non XML office doc, it sends just fine

Okay, let me test this out and see what happens.

I just tested this out and Using Entourage 2008 to send a .docx document works just fine.

Are you running version 12.0.1 of Office?

Okay, so here's your setup:

KMS 6.5.0p1
Entourage 2008 12.0.1

When you attach a .docx file to an email the send button does nothing? How about Mail.app? Does it do the same thing?

What OS are you running? Leopard?

Is that about right?

Holy freaking crap you have a lot of hardware there. Shocked

Try using Mail to send the message just for giggles, use IMAP to set up the account and see if it can take the attachments.

Also, can you send them via webmail?
