This normally happens if your queue contains a lot of mails. One reason for having lots of mails in the queue can be that someone is using your server to sent lots of spam out.

What I have done in such a case: Stop KMS services and have a look at the queue folders. If they are full of files, rename the queue folder to queue_old and start the server. You should then have access to the queue again.

Now you have to check what messages got in there and why. You have to eliminate the spam source (probably an infected workstation).

45 workstations? How do you manage?

If the mail queue is that loaded with mail, just open a few up and find the IP address of the sending machine. That should get you started.

That works, and you can check who the sender is on all the emails. Or with such a small organization, you could just walk around to the 45 desks. Smile
