Thanks in advance

If you want only email I think the BB OS supports IMAP, however if you want full functionality with contacts/calendar, etc then you need to subscribe to NotifyLink.

Notify makes it really simple. Nothing on KMS is needed, just setup a Notify account, install their software on your BB and tell that application your e-mail info. Notify knows what to do to make your e-mail work with KMS with no work on your part for the server at all (that is if you have access to web-mail outside your firewall).

I just picked up a refurbished Curve from ATT Wireless for free and it's my first time using a BB. I got hooked up with Notify and the email portion works really well. Due to my own goof ups I'm working through the PIM part syncing properly.

You should be able to sync calendar and contacts through a sync cable. We have several Blackberry's in an all Mac environment and use pocket mac with ical and kerio sync and it all works for the most part. Their is a bit of setup up front. but after that it just like syncing a palm.

You can sync via a cable however that's a bit tedious for road warriors. Ever since I went wireless OTA with syncing life has been a lot simpler.
