How do I delete Spam from my backup folders? I logged in using my admin webmail account and subscribed to the backup folder. However, I can't seem to delete the Spam messages even though I check the boxes and try to delete. I would like clean legit mail, otherwise my backup folders will grow out of proportion fast for the amount of Spam messages I receive per day. Please let me know if there is a way of doing this.

Thanks.

I seem to be able to delete just fine. If you are new to webmail, have you tried hitting expunge after you delete an item?

If this is the case, this is basically webmail giving you the capability to undelete if you havent expunged yet.

if I may also suggest, searching through your backup folder for legit emails seems like a lot of work. What I do is I have messages treated as spam go to a specific account. If someone claims one of their email is missing, then I search that account.

I also set up one client to download the spam account email everyday so it doesnt stay in the server. I only save one weeks worth of back up folders and delete the rest.

Thank you all for your help. I forgot about the Expunge button. It worked.

Thank you once again.
