When syncing a iCal with KMS, the public shared folder always syncs back to the local mail client.

Is there a way to set up the public/shared calendars so they do not sync back to everyones local mail client?

We do not want those syncing the public folder calendar back to their local mail client deleting it.

Do the users need access rights to all the public folders anyway? If not, just restrict them to being Readers.

Here we only give rights to a few people over each public folder. For most people they are read-only.

Thanks. I understand how to set user rights that works great, thanks!

However when say User1 syncs their calendar, that public calendar is syncing back to their local mail client. Then User1 is deleting the calendar from their local client and hence deleting in it from the Mail Server.

Are only those given Administrative access right actually able to delete the calendar when it syncs back to their local mail client?
