Hi to all, does anybody know how to implement VBounceRuleset into KMS on Windows?
You can find VBounceRuleset at http://wiki.apache.org/spamassassin/VBounceRuleset
I used to create/modify/add my own rules but what about VBounce.pm? where should i put it?
P.s.
While looking for a place where to put the VBounce.pm I noticed that kerio\spamassassin\bayes\auto-whitelist.pag is huge! almost 500MB! is it yours big as well?

This backscatter spam really drive me crazy as everyday i have to explain to someone why he's got 300 mails like "delivery failure" in his inbox.

Thanks for your help

Andrea

I would like to use this too but I know kerio's implementation of spamassassin doesn't make it easy to add extensions such as this Sad

You can add .cf files to KMS easily, but I was out of luck with .pm files. They never worked for me. As they are now officially supported by Kerio, don't expect any help from their side.

You probably need to raise an enhancement request, so they include it in future versions.

Actually i've submitted a TT and I'm waiting for a solution from them.
This problem is really driving me crazy as my customers receive thousand of these kind of messages and they're starting asking me if Antispam service is really on or not.

I'll let you know.

Actually, VBounce does not help much there. It is designed only for bounce message identification so the bounces could be moved to another folder in user mailbox. It does not increase spam score (well, it does but only by 0.1 point).

Same effect can be achieved by adding custom spam rules for common subjects (delivery failure, cannot be delivered, etc.) and sender addresses (postmaster<_a.t_>, maildaemon<_a.t_> etc.).
