Hi,

I use e-trust antivirus for scanning incomming mail. Most of the time everything works fine, but sometimes a message cannot be scanned. It stays in the queue with status: "4.6.5 antivirus check cannot be performed"
I would like te mail to be delivered with a warning attached (and have set this in the antivirus screen).

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Do you have the Kerio directory excluded from being scanned by eTrust? If not then that might be causing the problem.

Yes, it is excluded. As I said, everything works fine most of the time.
Only some messages stay in the queue i suspect they contain password protected zipfiles (or something like that). I would like these messages to be sent anyway with a warning attached.

back with some more info:
it seems like the messages contain two attachments: same filename, different extension. The second causes the error.

Could you send screen shots of the Antivirus and Action tabs within the KMS admin console?

You may want to report this to support<at>kerio.com. Your settings look correct. It may be helpful to support if you include your build numbers for KMS and eTrust.
