Today, after upgrading to version 6.5.1 spamassassin started to overtagging every incoming mail.
Every mail is tagged with the maximum score regardless its content.
I've tried to send clean text-only mail from external account and always get it tagged with a well-round score of 10.

I already tried to delete the bayes folder. but this didn't changed anything, the folder has been rebuilt without a fuss.
The blacklists are configured to simply add few points to the score, they shouldn't be able to overtag every incoming mail.

Our server is Windows based. Any ideas?

Thank you

Maybe we could help if you will post email headers - there you will find why the email got so high score. I doubt it is related to KMS update.

Thank you for your reply.

I looked into headers as you suggested and could see the overtagging is caused by multiple blacklist hits.

That shouldn't have changed much and we didn't change the points assignment to every blacklist, usually from 1.4 to 3 points each.
Can possibly have changed Spamassassin behaviour to check those blacklists?

I'll look deeply into it, but at present I had to disable blacklist checking to allow incoming mail pass through.

What lists are you using most? And what scoring schema are you using?

Have you disabled ordb.org? If not, you should do it. They are out of service for two years, but they have only recently started to flag all IP addresses.
