When I've updated KMS at my customers server (Fedora Core 6 with KMS 6.5.1), I have to re´nstall all KOC's on the PC's manually. At other customers I have seen that KOC is automatically updated after updating KMS. What do I have to do so that KMS will auto update the KOC's in the future?

The auto update mechanism contacts the web server component of KMS to check for and download updates. If you have the HTTP/HTTPS services set to use ports other than the default 80/443 you have to configure KOC with different port numbers.

Another possibility is something between the client and mail server blocking HTTP/HTTPS traffic.

I have a question to auto update funktion.

Many clients have no administrator rights.

Does function auto update also without administrator Rights?

Yes, it works without administrator rights. We don't allow any users administrator rights to the computers, and the update works on their machines.
