Hi there,

Can I ask which Blacklist are recommended to use as a spam filter on KMS?

I have a few of them listed on my KMS server but I do remember a post a few months ago about not using most of them...

So I currently only use Spamcop and Spamhaus.

Are there more FREE lists that I should use?

I am using the following blacklists for quite some time and I am very happy with them:

zen.spamhaus.org ==> Block

bl.spamcop.net ==> Block

list.dsbl.org ==> Block

db.wpbl.info ==> + 3.0

dnsbl-1.uceprotect.net ==> + 3.0

dnsbl-2.uceprotect.net ==> + 2.0

dnsbl.sorbs.net ==> + 2.0

They are sorted by number of hits. Spamhaus catches the most spam by far.

How can you determine statistics by filter type? I can see the statistics by spam vs non-spam, but haven't noticed this information.

No, I don't think you can do that. But in the security log, you can do a word count for <blacklist name> for each blacklist so get an overview.
