Hi we have some problem with DNS MX priority.
User sends mail to ...<_a.t_>fsv-spb.ru

nslookup says:
Non-authoritative answer:
fsv-spb.ru MX preference = 10, mail exchanger = relay1.wplus.net
fsv-spb.ru MX preference = 5, mail exchanger = relay.wplus.net

relay1.wplus.net internet address = 195.131.52.143
relay.wplus.net internet address = 195.131.52.142

We have ping ok to relay.wplus.net. And destination unreachable to relay1.wplus.net. Priority higher if preference lower: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MX_record

But KMS sent mail to relay1! We restart service, restart queue, but still same. Edit sys32/drivers/etc/hosts file to point relay1 to IP of relay - but still the same. (ping relay1 shows IP of relay)
Why KMS don't try different MX when send fail, and preference don't seem working?

I think you need to post log messages here, so you can be helped.

First, remove your entry in the hosts file.

In the debug log, choose "SMTP client" messages. Un-tick everything else. Then, try to send mail. Post the relevant content of the debug log here.

...

So the error is in long DNS update for our MX record to point to our IP. We changed it 2 days ago.

No, the error is

You need a PTR record for the IP address of your mail server. You should ask your ISP to do this for you.

What's happening: The receiving mail server relay.wplus.net is checking your PTR record. It does this as an anti-spam measure. As it doesn't find one for your server, it considers your server as a spamming server and terminates the connection.

Your KMS server now tries with the next server in the MX list, which is relay1.wplus.net
