Hi crew,

I am having serious problems at one of my clients. Every day, out of 25 users, about 5 get an error when they try to start Outlook saying that the store cannot be opened. When I check the debug.log, it reports the following (tabs removed):

[22/05/2008 09:20:48.800](2632){err}{database}
In .\AppServer.cpp:68 (CAppServer::AS_connect)
*** IBPP::SQLException ***
Context: Database::Connect
Message: isc_attach_database failed
SQL Message : -902
Unsuccessful execution caused by a system error that precludes
successful execution of subsequent statements
Engine Code : 335544335
Engine Message :
database file appears corrupt ()
bad checksum
checksum error on database page 91150

[22/05/2008 09:20:48.800](2632){err}{mapi-interface}
In .\MSProviderImpl.cpp:283 (MSProviderImpl::Logon)
Exception of class HResultException: .\MSProviderImpl.cpp(674), MSProviderImpl::connectToDatabase:

I have tried search on this forum but found no solution.

For now, I just delete the FDB file and restart outlook. But some users are affected every day (some not) and it's getting very annoying for them, because the sync takes a long time.

I hope someone can shine a light....

Additional information:

I found another posting about this matter, they mentioned a microsoft patch based on sucurity bulletin ms08-015, but some of the users do have this patch and some don't... That leads me to assume that's not the problem...
