Hi all!

I had some problems with my account on my mailserver, it was getting kind of sluggish - the others on the server have no problems, so I thought I'd export everything to an Outlook PST-file, delete my old account, start a new account, and import everything to the new account.

I got some problems with importing (File->Import/Export) from the PST-file - "MAPI Out of memory" - "Outlook cannot find object" and some more. Decided to instead empty the account again, and open the PST separately in Outlook - and drag-drop the folders to my new account (using KOC). This worked perfectly.
BUT, when I check the log on the server I get a whole bunch of lines as:

[28/May/2008 08:45:30] mail_folder.cpp: Cannot rename file E:\Mail\Store/mail/itsolver.se/bjorn/INBOX/Sorterat2/Jobb/Detab/status.fld.new to E:\Mail\Store/mail/itsolver.se/bjorn/INBOX/Sorterat2/Jobb/Detab/status.fld when saving folder status: (5) Access is denied.
[28/May/2008 08:45:31] mail_folder.cpp: Cannot rename file E:\Mail\Store/mail/itsolver.se/bjorn/INBOX/Sorterat2/Jobb/Elan IT/status.fld.new to E:\Mail\Store/mail/itsolver.se/bjorn/INBOX/Sorterat2/Jobb/Elan IT/status.fld when saving folder status: (5) Access is denied.

Is this something that will cause me problems in the future?
Can I do something to resolve this?

Are you still experiencing this issue?

Recently I also started receiving a similar error (multiple errors logged every day) with most if not all of my users.

mail_folder.cpp: Cannot rename file /usr/local/kerio/mailserver/store/mail/domain.com/username/Outbox/status.fld.new to /usr/local/kerio/mailserver/store/mail/domain.com/username/Outbox/status.fld when saving folder status: (2) No such file or directory

No, i only got that error during the import of my old mail.

Before, when I had my old account (started in an older version of KMS) I got the errors almost every day - mostly on the outbox - exactly like you get.
