Hi,

I've got a ticket with support regarding this but was wondering if anyone out there had the same prob.

Ever since I upgraded to 6.5.1 (couple of days ago), my users can no longer send emails out which are larger than the default 1.5 mb.

This is regardless of what their limit has been changed to.

This is on Win 2003 Server using Outlook KOFF 6.5.1 or webmail (and yes, webmail attachment size has already been changed as well followed by a restart).

Thanks.

I got an answer to this!!

Apparently, your user mail limit only applies to your main alias.

eg

If you have john<_a.t_>mail.com and john.doe<_a.t_>mail.com, your user limit will only apply to the main one.

In 6.5.0, the mail limit applied to the account.
In 6.5.1, it was fixed to only work on the main alias.

I've had to change my domain mail limit to get around this.

Weird 'fix' if you ask me.
I think a limit should be applied to the account, rather than the alias.

Thanks to a lovely lady called Vicky at UK Support for finding the answer for me!

In 6.5.0 the limit was applied to the main alias only as well. The 'fix' was in the KOC because in 6.5.0 it didn't use custom From address when sending emails. This has been fixed.
