Hi,

I'm testing Kerio as a replacement for my existing mail server. I'm running into a problem where Kerio cannot send outgoing mail.

My current mail server works just fine so I know it's not my server or network connection or DNS.

What can I check in Kerio to find out what's going on?

Here's a snippet from the mail log file:

[15/Jun/2008 10:04:55] Sent: Queue-ID: 48552e6a-00000582, Recipient: <xxxxxxxxx<_a.t_>cableone.net>, Result: delayed, Status: 4.4.1 Cannot connect to remote host

I'm not using a relay for my SMTP server. The rest of the config is pretty vanilla. Internal e-mails deliver just fine.

Thanks for any help I can get.
Scott

I figured out my problem.

McAfee AV 8.5

It has built-in "Access Protection" that blocks anything from sending e-mails or using port 25. As soon as I added an exception for mailserver.exe, everything started working normally.
