I have custom rules to reject messages with missing or no subject line and to bounce back to the sender.

1. It does not seem to bounce the message back to the sender even though i have set it to do so.

2. The message in the reject quarantine folder only says that the message "did not pass through the server's spam filter". If the message did bounce to the sender, they wouldn't know that the reason was missing subject information.

3. We have a mailing list that ordinarily would say that the message was rejected because of a missing subject. However, the custom filter settings override this and the less useful message (from above) is generated and does not get bounced to the sender.

The report/en folder has mlist messages for missing subject data. Is it possible to have such a message for normal email messages?
