howdy

i had to rebuild a couple of clients email databases (entourage 2004 on a mac) as they had become corrupt

all of the tags (follow-up, category etc) are no longer attached to the emails once rebuilt

is that info purely contained with entourage... or is that data transferred back to the server?

anything i can do to get the tags back?

would upgrading to entourage 2007 help?

thanks in advance for any help/tips/pointers

thanks for the links

i did search.... nothing showed up... i guess (obviously) it is very dependent on what you enter as the search criteria.. i must have not entered ti right one(s).. so apologies for that

shame about entourage not syncing that data

is there another mac client that does?... or does KMA not have the ability store that data (apple mail etc etc)

thanks again

anyone have an answer on this one

we are looking to upgrade our mail clients (we were thinking of upgrading entourage from 2004 to 2008... but it seems after the answer above... this does not make sense).... but we will only upgrade if there is a client application that allows us to tag mail (category, priority etc) and those tags get written back to the server

we will also need a somewhat seemless transitiion from entourage to the new client (exporting/importing all mail etc)

does anyone know of a client that works this way

again... we are running all apple macs with at least 10.4.11 on them

thanks again
