We have one user who has to look after a load of POP3 mailboxes on other servers in addition to his main Kerio Mailbox. We are migrating him from Outlook Express to Outlook/KOC. Is there any way to set up a separate message store (or other type of delivery location) for each POP3 account well away from his Kerio Inbox?

If not, is there a sensible solution within Outlook or should we tell him to use Outlook for Kerio and Outlook Express for the POP boxes?

What some of my users do is forward each of their POP accounts to their Kerio account and setup separate mail folders for each. Then in the mail filtering, you can setup a rule for each address and have it drop the messages into its corresponding subfolder. This works great for incoming messages, but unfortunately, all outbound messages will be sent as the default account or the single reply address specified in the settings. This does not separate the mailstore for each account, but does separate the inbound messages by subfolder. I am not aware of any way to create a separate mailstore for each inbound POP mail account, unless you actually create individual Kerio accounts, taking up a seat for each address.

Another options (after reading your email again) is that Outlook will allow you to setup multiple accounts. I believe it will store each account with its own mailstore locally if they are POP accounts. You, however, can only have a single exchange-like email account, so setting up Kerio will take up your exchange-like account and then you can setup the rest as POP accounts. You can also create individual profiles for each POP account, but that will force you to jump from one profile to another if you want to check email for each account. I hope this helps!
