I am having problems with recurring events showing up properly on the web based calendar in KMS 6.5.2 when the events were created using the web interface. Here is what I am doing so you can see if you have the same results or not. I've tested this on Safari 3.1.2, Firefox 2.0.16 and Firefox 3.0 on Mac OS 10.5.4.
Here are the details of the events:
Subject: Test Event
Location: My Office
Start Time: 07/21/08 9:00 a.m.
End Time: 07/21/08 12:00 p.m.
15 minute reminder on, Show time as busy, Normal Priority, Label is None, Priority normal, No categories, Private not checked, No comments
Recurrence settings: End by 07/22/08, Daily recurrence pattern, Recur every 1 day
With these parameters, what ends up showing on the web calendar (in day, week or month view) is just the first of the two events. In the day and week view you will see the recurrence icon on the first event but if you look at 07/22/08 the event will not appear. Now, here is the odd part. I have my iPhone with 2.0 software syncing calendar events using the new ActiveSync technology and when I look at July 21 and 22 the events appear just fine.
If I use the same parameters except I check the All Day event option the events will show up properly on both days on the web calendar (in day, week or month views) when created on the web calendar. Both event show up properly on my iPhone as well.
Another wrinkle to the problem. If I create the events with the parameters listed above on my iPhone it properly displays both events on the web calendar (in day, week or month views).
Has anyone else experienced this problem? Can others reproduce this problem when adding events to their calendar through the web interface? Anyone have any suggestions for me? Thanks.
