hi

I have downloaded the latest version of winroute firewall. I don't see any screen for entering the login/password for my DSL connection.

My basic requirement is to login to my DSL provider.

Also, in winroute 4.x I could see the "number of connections". Will Winroute Firewall show the application names that is using these connections? For some reason the number of connections seems to be very high [above 200+ just for browsing]

Which PPPOE application do you have installed? (WinPoet, Enternet 300 or RAS PPPOE) If you are using WinPoet or RAS PPPOE then the PPPOE connection should be visible as a dialup account. If you are using Enternet 300 then I would recommend switching to RAS PPPOE. (www.raspppoe.com) Status --> Connections should list for you all of the current traffic. You can add the columns source and destination port to get an idea of what is generating the traffic but you cannot get it to list the applications.
