I Have an xserve that runs nothing but kerio that seems to reboot itself every night/morning at approx 3 am. Just wondering whether Kerio secretly does anything at that time (dns refresh or similar) that might help me troubleshoot it?

Server logs are next to useless so just a question to anyone that might have any ideas...

Running Server 10.4.11 and Kerio 6.5.2 (although 6.5 was the same).

Is your machine really rebooting or are the logs rotating at 3:15am?

Yes, definitely rebooting - if left logged in will always be back at login screen in the morning - consistently 'freezing' (I imagine) at same point every night - kerio backs up at 1.00am and emails me to say all is ok so it must be after that.

OS X server setting to 'reboot if computer freezes' is the saving grace...

I would check on hardware problems, specifically hard drive issues on your server. It should NOT be locking up or rebooting.
