Hello all;

I sometimes see this message in the warning log:

{30/Jul/2008 14:07:35} Antivirus check of mail from <WileCoyote<_a.t_>acme.com> to <RoadRunner<_a.t_>acme.com>
cannot be performed: Classification limit reached

What does that mean?

Are you using the internal spam engine? (McAfee)

Using the internal engine, and also have Sophos external anti-virus configured.

Have you excluded the store directory from your Sophos AV?

Yes, the entire \Kerio folder is excluded from on-access scanning, and there are no scheduled scans

I have the same antivirus conf (internal MacAffee & Sophos) and the same message.
I'm running Kerio Connect 7.0.1

Message in the email :
Problème: Virus trouvé
Type MIME: application/vnd.ms-excel
Nom de fichier: xxxxxxxxxxxx.xls
Erreur: Classification limit reached
Antivirus: Sophos Anti-Virus

And the log in the "warning" screen :
[11/Jun/2010 13:19:53] Antivirus check of mail from <xxxxxx@xxxx.com> to <xxxxx<_at_>xxxxxx.com> cannot be performed: Classification limit reached

The .xls file looks ok.

Anyone has an idea to solve this ?

We see this quite a bit. In the debug log we see:

We're using KC 7.1.0 and an external Sophos AV.
Does anyone know what the cause is or what the error actually means?

With KC 7.1, Sophos is the internal AV solution. I don't think you can use Sophos as external AV solution. Someone from Kerio should correct me if I am wrong.

We were getting this message showing up before Kerio switched to Sophos as the integrated AV.
