When using KOC and trying to open a folder containing 1000+ emails (could also be less) it seems to hang and then add objects to the list with just 'none' in the recieved column.

Is this normal?

hi,

i have had this problem and it has been reported here before, solution is to go on the server to the folder having the problem and remove the 'properties.fld' file. this sometimes corrupts, mostly during upgrades

removing it makes kerio rebuild it and fixes the problem

It does this to _ALL_ folders containing large amounts of messages, it seems to me like some sort of server timeout

Try removing the properties.fld file from some of those folders, you'll normally see the difference immediately.

if this happens regularly, you can always write a little script that removes the properties.fld file from those folders. that way you have to run only that file when this happens on a lot of folders (if it's the same ones off coarse).

Instead of just removing the properties.fld, it should be renamed to "properties.bad". This allows the mail server to use it to recreate the properties so you don't lose things like flags and the like. Also, if you go back through the boards you will notice that KOC does not handle large amounts of messages in one folder well. You might want to think about organizing them into folders or maybe switching to KOFF and see if that helps.
