I'm surprised I haven't seen a post yet, but has anyone looked at connecting to Winroute Firewall via an iPhone?

I'm using the latest update(2.0.1), with a PPTP config, and it's failing.

I have been wondering if this is possible via the iPhone ipsec client...I know pptp will not work though.

Hopefully we get an official response, though I fear the answer is no.

iPhone firmware 2.0 supports L2TP, PPTP or Cisco IPSec VPN solution. KWF is using proprietary Kerio VPN protocol.

In order to connect from iPhone to LAN, you have to setup own PPTP,L2TP or Cisco VPN server.

I'm afraid it is not technically possible to develop VPN client or any similar application for the iPhone. iPhone 3rd party applications have strong limitations.

Why not supporting PPTP or L2TP VPN protocols?

I'm having trouble getting iPhone VPN to work. I've copied all the proper settings from my mac to the iPhone and the connection process appears to complete. I see that I'm getting a proper IP address and that the timer begins ticking away. Unfortunately, I can't reach any websites via IP or DNS.

Nah, this topic is two years old but I know someone will still look for help to setup VPN in iphone.. Im currently using iPhone 5S.. Anyway here's the things you need:

I have tested my Android as well as my iphone and both connects without a problem.

In Firewall
Source: Internet or ANY
Dest: Firewall
Services: IKE, IPSec, IPSec NAT-T, PPTP
Action: Allow

Make sure you setup the IPSec VPN, provided the Pre-Shared Key, use proper certificate (Interface\VPN Server)

In Phone
Type: L2TP
Server: <your firewall DNS>
Account: <your kerio user account>
RSA SecurID: default OFF
Password: <your user password>
Secret: <your pre-shared key>
Send all traffic: default ON

When turn on iphone VPN to connect, you'll still need to provide your Kerio Control user credential.

I still cannot put Android and iphone to work in a customer an even for myself.
IPSEC VPN is being a nightmare for me. Can anyone of good soul help me with a step-by-step configuration on both sides for Android devices?
Maybe Android is different from iphone in some way.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Reinaldo,
there is a very good KB on Kerio Site about this.
http://kb.kerio.com/product/kerio-control/vpn/configuring-ip sec-vpn-1281.html
I had it working within 5 minutes, but I can also build IPsec from Control to Draytek Wink

If Kerio supported OpenVPN this would be a cinch to setup.
