For a few months now I have been encountering an issue with KOFF not displaying the kerio options tab in outlook. It seems to be effecting both outlook 2007 and 2003, regardless of the service pack level. I have also tried uninstalling update KB946983 and creating a new outlook profile, and while that solved our public folder access issues the options panel is still missing. There is no error displayed when I go to tools -> options, the tab is just completely gone. We are running version 6.5.2 build 6426 on Windows Server 2003. If anyone has any insight into this problem it will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I have had this issue as well. I know you said you uninstalled kb946983, but the one I had an issue with was resolved it seems by removing kb952142 (which I understand was the update to kb946983).

I tried removing that update as well and creating a new profile, but it still does not show the options panel. Also, that wouldn't explain why the tab isn't showing in Outlook 2003.

Hallo all together.

We have users with these problem too. And the number of users increases.

We contacted the support team (thanks to them) and were told to
1. stop Kerio Mailserver,
2. delete the 'filter.siv' file, only for the user with mission "options tab" (-->Filesystem: Mailstore-->Domain->Mailbox)
3. start Kerio Mailserver

We need to recreate the profile in such a case, also.
But afterwards, the user is able to use public folders, shared ressources and the options tab, again.

Anybody with the same symptoms and other solutions?

Cheers,

multiwack

works for me too, had to use it for a user today and works great.

strange thing is that for myself i have this issue on a terminal server KOFF install, but with the same account do not have on 2 windows XP clients

one should think that this affects every setup you make for a user, seems not...

thanks for letting us know this solution
