Hello,

I have a lot of mails in the queue which are adressed to recipients at bayern.de.

If you look at the MX-Records in DNS you see:
bayern.de MX preference = 10, mail exchanger = mail.bayern.de

mail.bayern.de internet address = 195.200.70.102
mail.bayern.de internet address = 195.200.70.103
mail.bayern.de internet address = 195.200.70.104
mail.bayern.de internet address = 195.200.70.105
mail.bayern.de internet address = 195.200.70.106
mail.bayern.de internet address = 195.200.70.107
mail.bayern.de internet address = 195.200.70.108
mail.bayern.de internet address = 195.200.70.87
mail.bayern.de internet address = 195.200.70.95
mail.bayern.de internet address = 195.200.70.96
mail.bayern.de internet address = 195.200.70.97
mail.bayern.de internet address = 195.200.70.98
mail.bayern.de internet address = 195.200.70.99
mail.bayern.de internet address = 195.200.70.100
mail.bayern.de internet address = 195.200.70.101

I I do a telnet on port 25 only 101, 105, 107, 108 is responding. How does Kerio behave in this situation? Does it always takes the first MX-record and tries to send mail to it? If so, the mail would never get delivered because .102 doesn't answer. Or does it cycle all entries?

at the moment my mails don't get delivered. How could I fix it?

Thanks

Stefan

Hello Stefan,

you cannot fix this issue, because there seems to be something going wrong in the authorative DNS. Try to contact the domain admin and let him know what happens. He has to figure out, why their mailserver responds to more than one ip at a time.

Best wishes,
