One of my users is using his iphone with a exchange account.

Push happens when a mail lands in the root of has inbox. If however there is a rule/filter to move a message into a sub folder then the message is not pushed.

The mail does appear on the phone when he enters a subfolder causing it to sync.

Anyone else noticed this behavior?

EDIT:
It appears it may be a problem with Apple.

I have the same issue. Messages in subfolders do not get "pushed" but only appear when I do a fetch.
I've just been assuming it is either a bug or a limitation of the push email in Kerio.

It's a limitation of push email capabilities in iPhone.

Quite some years ago Windows Mobile devices had the same problem; only message in the INBOX would get synced. This is Apple's first ActiveSync application, so they must have decided to start with the 'basics' and get the interface more advanced in future releases. Perhaps in a later firmware, perhaps in the iphone 4G Smile

Has there been any updates on this with the new iPhone 3GS?
This would be a great added feature to be able to have subfolders pushed and maybe even being able to specify which folders to use push on.

Yes, it does work with all iPhones 3.0.
