Really scratching my head over this one. For one of our public folders, user A is seeing about 800 messages and user B sees over 3000. User A is not seeing any mail before a certain date. The baffling thing is the actual message count (per the server) is the lower number. I can't tell who's wrong and I'm scared to have user B empty cache or synchronize in case all those messages are somehow truly gone.
I have looked for a setting that may regulate how far back messages are displayed hoping the problem was only that. No luck. Any ideas?

What do both users see when they log into webmail? If they both see the same thing, that will rule out a server side issue and narrow it down to something with the client.

What client are they connecting with?
