The folks at NotifyLink are developing a new product called NotifySync. The nice thing about this is that it will allow Blackberries to synchronize directly with the Kerio mail server using ActiveSync. This will eliminate the need for the monthly fee for NotifyLink. I have installed NotifySync. However, the only obstacle standing in my way is that by default, Kerio will not accept connections from unknown mobile devices. Does anyone know how to override that default setting, so Kerio will accept the connection from this Blackberry?

Do a forum search. There were some threads back in the pre-iPhone 2.0 release days that discussed the editing of the mailserver.cfg file to enable support for unsupported devices, but I'm also too lazy to search and find the threads Wink

Kerio MailServer 6.7.1 w/AD
Windows Server 2003 SP 1
Dell PowerEdge 2850 (Dual Xeon 3.2ghz and 2 GB RAM)
~1300 users
~1000+ concurrent IMAPS connections
iPhone users
Outlook 2007 KOFF users
Apple iCal 10.5/10.6 users

Thanks. I did a search, but apparently with the wrong search terms. Fortunately, I got the information from a Kerio tech. I am hesitant to post it though, since it is an unsupported feature (which I did not know before asking). I would much rather somebody get the info directly from Kerio, so they can also get the proper warning.
