I have a user on Office 2007 SB and KOFF 6.5.2 (I have removed the usual security updates). For the last couple of releases of KOFF he has to run Webmail after booting up in order for his KOFF connector to start picking up email. Its really odd, until the webmail is logged in and connected nothing will sync, even after send / receive. This happens no matter which type of connection to the net he uses and all other browsing functions on the machine work fine.

I am starting to think that maybe it is security software blocking the SSL connection from the connector and will test soon - anyone else had this issue?

Just to add to this...

The Kerio connector will deliver any new message to the user whilst he is logged into outlook, the connector is not syncing messages that he has received whilst the connector and outlook were not running. They just sit in his inbox.
