I'm playing with the demo of KMS 6.6 and hooked up ical using caldav. Very easy setup calendars sync'd as advertised. Resources and availability worked for me on my computer. I was very happy to get availability so we don't have to use entourage. However when setting up other users with the same version OS they don't get the availability link when attendee's are added.

Any ideas?

Can you check the logs and see if something's happen?

There were no entries in the logs directly from the clients. I found that when I setup the clients mail it would then work. I thought this was a CalDAV feature.

Interesting. So once you set up Mail everything worked? That's good to know. Meeting invites are sent out via mail so it makes sense that you need mail set up to get status.

No, that does NOT make sense!

The meeting invites are sent out Server Side, not by Mail (in huge contrast to build-in iCal requests!)

iCal Server can Not handle this - Kerio can.

To test, login to the webmail and see if you can see availability there. you should be able to, if the users have an account in Kerio.

iCal uses OD lookups for this feature - so you need to have a valid OD/LDAP entry pointing to your Kerio Servers LDAP service - and it need to work, in order for iCal to look up people and their availability.

Check if Address Book can find the people via Directory lookups (and not via a manually added LDAP server i AB!)

On fix is to delete the Kerio LDAP sever in Directory Utility and re-run the iCal Auto-config installer for that user.

Hope it helps!
