Hi.
Our company runs a KMS.
At first when we installed everything and so on we didn't like it when Outlook Express just drew a line over the messages when we wanted to delete them, but on hand we actually learned to live with it and started to like it because every time you happened to wrongly erase a message you could just undo it.

Now to the problem, after updating to 6.6.0 this function disappeared. Now every mail gets erased directly with no chance to undo. is this a option in KMS I can change or is it stuck like this with this version?

Thanks
Jonas

We had the same problem.

I put in a suppport query for this and got a response.

If you edit mailserver.cfg files and change the variable AutoExpungeOnDelete from a 1 to a 0, and restart the server.
It will revert OE back to the way it was.

I like the undelete feature as well as it is so easy to accidently delete the wrong email.

This applies to all IMAP clients.

They should have made this an admin option in the console to switch this on or off.

I'm not at the server now but I'll check this out!
Thanks for the quick reply.

And yes I would prefer this to be an admin option.
