I noticed Dataviz updated RoadSync today. I just downloaded a trial and intalled it on an E71. I doesn't work with KMS 6.6.
During setup, Roadsync verifies your settings. It fails when loading folders (activeSyncErrTransactionFailed)

Looks like:

I confirm that Roadsync 4 does not work with KMS 6.6. I do hope that kerio will fix this ASAP since they recommend Roadsync and there is quite a deployed user base.

I had the same problem here, and contacted DataViz about it. All they had to say is that they don't support KMS and were surprised Version 3.00 works.

This was a bit of a surprise to me seeing as how Kerio advertise RoadSync as the solution for Symbian phones, but I guess this means we'll have to wait for Kerio to implement a fix for this issue as DataViz clearly aren't interested...

No update on the ticket yet. I'm using two email profiles on my Nokia E71. One using MFE from Nokia, the other using Roadsync. MFE is still working, so I'm forwarding all mails from the Roadsync account to the MFE account. Maybe that's a workaround for you too?

Regards,

Leon

Official response:

Currently KMS supports RoadSync 2.0 . Please refer to the following section of our manual http://www.kerio.com/manual/kms/en/sect-roadsync.html . We have a feature request on file # 34856 to add support for RoadSync 4.0 . I have increased the count on the bug. Please note that we do not have a schedule on when this feature will be supported.

Note - Dataviz no longer sell version 3, but Kerio do. However, Dataviz do NOT support Roadsync 3 on KMS (but it does work).

Not the most encouraging response, but i guess to be expected if there's missing functionality from KMS rather than it being a bug.

Incidentally, Mail For Exchange does work OK too, but that doesn't give the one thing I was looking for from RoadSync 4.0, which is HTML Email support.

Well that's a nice one! Last month I've bought KMS and wanted to buy Roadsync as well. I was told that Roadsync should be purchased elsewhere. I bought Roadsync online at Dataviz. Because I've bought Roadsync version 3 in the month that version 4 was release I got a free _one-time_ upgrade solution. Now I'm stuck in between... Shocked

Ok... that's pretty fast! Within three weeks there is a new version which does support Roadsync v4! I will install version 6.6.1 tonight and post my results.

I'm now running Kerio Mailserver 6.6.1 (linux) for 12 hours... No problems so far! Roadsync v4 is working again, super!

Only problem I have with Roadsync v4 now, is that the application sets itself to the default email profile after every sync... Verion 3 did not have that problem and I'm using MFE as my primairy... I could always swap the profiles... But that's not kerio related...
