I installed KWF 6.5.1 over 6.5.0
Since then winroute.exe consumes massive memory.
It starts at 50MB and after about 20minutes its up to 800MB
I don´t see any errors in the logs.
If I let it running winroute will restart itself
The windows log shows:

The Kerio WinRoute Firewall service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 15000 milliseconds: Restart the service.

i got the same issue but in my case winroute.exe use a maximum of 400MB. I've set a planned script to restart winroute service daily at 5 AM:
net stop winroute
net start winroute

but isn't a nice solution.
may be we need to don't install over previous versions?
TIA
Mario
PS:sorry for my ugly english

avserver.exe (NOD module)

After 48 hours usage v6.5.1 was using 650+ MB.
After restart, 48 hours later memory usage was back up to 657 MB.

This on W2K SP4 box with 768 MB ram, no AV installed.

First experience of a KWF memory leak after using the last 6 releases.
Mad

Thinking about a rollback.

I had the same problem with the new version 6.5.1.
I had to restart the KWF service, because the internet was unaccessible from our firm network. At first I thought it was an accidental error. When I saw this topic about memory leak in 6.5.1, I saw, that KFW service consumes about 330MB of memory!
I had to downgrade back to 6.5.0 and wait for new release. Sad

Accounting was disabled after the first memory leak-related restart, with no improvement.

Currently at 80 MB usage, up from an initial 40 MB at restart just 3.25 hours ago.

Perhaps it still is the UPnP module, which was very buggy last release.

Perhaps disabling that feature will help reducing memory leakage
