I am looking at a few anti-spam options to compliment the Spam Assassin that is build into Kerio. One of the options I am looking at is adding a Spam Assassin Plug-in to Kerio's implementation. Commtouch makes a plug-in that you can add to a normal SpamAssassin implementation that uses their filtering technology to assign Spam Assassin scores to messages.

It seems pretty easy to install. You are supposed to add a .pm file to /user/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5/Mail/SpamAssassin/Plugin and a .pre and .cf file to /etc/mail/spamassassin. The problem I am having is i can't find these directories in Kerio's implementation.

Does any one know were the equivalent locations are in Kerio or does this have no chance at working?

Kerio uses Spamassassin but does not officially support the manual addition of SA addins. Anyhow, I managed to add some plugins and it works.

On Windows, the directory for the .cf files is on

C:\Program Files\Kerio\MailServer\plugins\spamassassin\rules

.pm are on

C:\Program Files\Kerio\MailServer\plugins\spamassassin\lib

Under Unix, it might be a similar location.

Not completely sure on the pricing. I know it is on a per users basis. My sales rep ball parked me about $1000 for 50 users.
