Hi, first sorry my english. I have a small business, with a server and 10 PC clients.I download Kerio Winroute 6, and i try to configure, but is very difficult... i need some help, because if works well i want to buy

The server has WinXP, 2 card networks, one i call internet and the other, LAN .
The ADSL router IP is 126.72.1.1

network Card "Internet") IP: 126.72.1.100/255.255.255.0
GATEWAY:126.72.1.1 / DNS: 87.215.22.1

network Card "LAN" IP: 126.72.1.101/255.255.255.0

The Clients have IP from .110 to .120

I want to configure Kerio to share internet from server to the LAN, the network works well, because i can share folders, and ping.

Use different network subnet for LAN clients and everything will work fine. I suppose you have only one public IP address on ADSL router and need to use NAT. Am I right?

LAN Card: 172.16.2.1/255.255.255.0

Clients: 172.16.2.2...20/255.255.255.0
GATEWAY: 172.16.2.1 DNS: 172.16.2.1

Hi, thanxs for the reply.

Now my network is this:

ROUTER ADSL: 126.72.1.1

Server Win2003: Active Directory/DNS server
IP: 126.72.1.2

i have a network cable from router to a switch.

And form the switch are conected all the PCs and the server.

All clients, are configured with 126.72.1.100/120, gateway: 126.72.1.1 and DNS: 126.72.1.2 (the DNS server)

I make a small graphic of my LAN in paint

http://s1.subirimagenes.com/imagen/1513576lan-now.gif

And i want to change to this

http://s1.subirimagenes.com/imagen/1513620lan-i-wanted.gif

I want to change the DNS server from SERVER PC to Kerio Winroute PC

In the winroute PC, i have to LAN card, one connected to the router and the other to the switch.

The problem, is i dont have any idea with IP chose for the lan card in the winroute PC, clients

The only think i know, is i cannot change the 126.72.1.2 IP of the route, because the clients logon in the domain in this IP

Thanxs for your help

Ok, i reply miself

resolved the LAN problems, Kerio_pdobry you are right i chose different subnet

Mi config now is this:

Winroute PC:

Ethernet Internet: 192.168.1.3/255.255.255.0 gateway: 126.72.1.1 DNS: 80.52.0.11

Ethernet LAN: 192.168.1.1/255.255.255.0 gateway: NO DNS: 127.0.0.1

The problem:

All works OK, but for only one minute. The clients can use internet, mail.. etc, but 1 minute aprox later, they lost conection.

To solve this, i need to go to Winroute PC, control panel, ethernet conections, right click on Internet LAN icon, and chose the "repair" option.

Now i can use internet 1 minute more...

What the problem??

thanxs
