I am a user in an organization that uses KMS 6.4.1. I have recently purchased an iPhone, but am having trouble getting it to sync using activesync. When I go through the setup procedure on the iPhone, the phone verifies my exchange account; however, when the phone tries to sync with the server to retrieve email, calendar and contacts, I get an error message "Cannot Get Mail - The connection to the server failed".

I can fetch email on the iPhone using IMAP without any troubles. I have tried installing the security certificate used by our mail server on my iPhone, but this doesn't help. My phone is running version 2.2 of the iPhone firmware.

Any suggestions on where to start or where I should point my IT director?

Thanks.

You need version 6.5.1 of KMS at minimum (I think) to sync and iPhone. Current version is version 6.6.1.

Check your PM, I sent you a message.
