I have had this HTC Cingular phone for 3 or 4 years now... always worked great!
In October 08 we moved to Kerio mail.
At that time some how I was able to set it up and everything worked great until about 3 days ago when I had to reset my phone to factory settings again.
This time I have tried everything I know, but I cannot get the phone to sync with the server.
I recall getting a ppc registry editor before and changing some value and it worked... and it is not the 'adding of UID partnership', that is suggested under setting up ppc's.This time I used CERegEditor by MdSoft which was easier to use.
I do not recall what I did, or where on the web I got that information.
So far, I have followed every step including downoading certificate etc.
I am able to log on and read mail via browser without a problem, but I have problem with Exchange server.
The code 0x85002003 comes when I sync with phone connected via USB to my laptop
The code 0x80072F0D comes when I sync without phone connected via USB

Any one has any input or idea what I a could be doing wrong?

The error means "This problem may occur because the device manufacturer locked the Windows Mobile 5.0-based device. This lock prevents you from installing Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificates correctly." It can be very easily found on Google.

And solution: You need to unlock the device and install server SSL certificate on it. See for details.
