We have Apple Mail, Addressbook and iCal, all working fine in internal LAN, once outside, connected to internet, still works fine, IMAP folders visible, mails coming in, cals suyncing, adddressen too, BUT NOT ABLE TO SENT MAIL...

We get this message;

* OK Kerio MailServer 6.6.2 IMAP4rev1 server ready

When using Entourage with same settings, all working fine.

Please advise, boss is kiling me softly...

Do you have smtp ports forwarded properly for sending mail? Entourage doesn't use smtp so that could be why it's working and Mail isn't.

Your firewall needs to forward ports 25, 587, and 465 to your server like it does for IMAP & POP3.

OK, do I do this for both incoming and outgoing traffic?

Just incoming, outgoing should automatically work unless specifically denied.
