I seem to be having issues with the Directory server portion of the MailServer. I am testing on a Mac running OS X 10.5. I used the Mac integration tool that Kerio provides to setup iCal via CalDav and the Kerio server as the Directory server.

It seems that Mac Mail will use the Directory server to lookup addresses and automatically complete them. However, when I try to add an attendee within iCal I must know the email address of the user in order to send invites or lookup free/busy information. I really need my users to be able to only know the first few letters of a person's name and have the rest filled in for them.

I am also noticing that all of the users on the server are duplicated in the Directory utility. Basically there are two entries for every user when you use the "Directory" tool on a Mac to view the Kerio Directory server that is setup.

Have you looked inside your Directory Utility, under Search Policy -> Contacts, and made sure that you have only one LDAP entry there?

Also, check in your Address Book, under Preferences -> LDAP, and check which LDAP servers you have active there.
