We have a form on our website this is hosted with a third party vendor.
The vendor then emails the form back to a generic email address.
This email is marked as spam and is not getting through.
In order for us to get it through spam filtering we have to set 7 to 8 which is not acceptable.

Via Spam Filter > Custom Rules we have added the vendors email address using their from and sender header info

We have also tried allowing all emails going to that email address to be allowed.

When an email is sent it still being assigned a spam value and being blocked.
Looking at blocked mail it's AWL value is zero.

We have little control over what the users fill out in the subject or comments the email. That is what's catching the spam filters wrath. But if we have it in the custom rules why is it still being filtered.

The AWL values has nothing to do with the custom white list. AWL ist the Auto-White-List from Bayes.

I suspect you put the wrong criteria in the white list. Can you post the mail headers and what you put in the white list? Having this information it should be relatively easy to solve this problem.
