Hi Forum

We installed Kerio Winroute Firewall 6.5.2 and it works great. Except every few minutes we keep getting "Alerts" saying: Port scan detected:

Quote:

Portscan detected
Event description
Host: pgjkt-sv03.precision.corp (10.62.0.3)
Details: protocol: TCP, source: 10.62.0.3, destination: 192.168.174.1, 192.168.189.1, ..., ports: 2819, 2820, 2824, 2829, 2833, 2837, 2838, 2846, 2814, 2815, ...

How to investigate the source of these scans?? Thank you for helping.

Those ranges are C local ranges, that means you've subnets that try to get to internet ,or perhaps some machines in that ranges are infected with malware and try to propagate themselves.

Try first to investigate where these ranges belong.
